1. Who we are
A11y Delivery Report Copilot ("the extension") is published by [LEGAL ENTITY — PENDING]. Contact: [SUPPORT EMAIL — PENDING].
2. What the extension does
It reads the web page you are currently viewing after you click Scan, detects accessibility problems, and lets you turn those findings into a fix list and an exportable report. Everything runs inside your browser.
3. What we do not collect
- We do not collect, upload or store the content of pages you scan (HTML, text, images,
screenshots, form values).
- We do not collect browsing history, and we do not run in the background on pages you did
not scan.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell or share data with third parties for advertising.
4. What is processed and where
| Data | Where it goes | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Page content of the scanned tab | Stays in your browser (memory only) | Detect findings |
| Findings, task status, report settings | Your browser's local extension storage | Reopen results, export the report |
| Exported report file | Your Downloads folder | The deliverable you asked for |
| Licence key, random device id, licence status | Our licence API (Cloudflare Workers + D1) | Activate and validate your purchase, enforce the 3-device limit |
| Purchase email | Paddle (Merchant of Record), not the extension | Receipt, tax, licence delivery |
See the full inventory: docs/privacy/a11y/data-flow.md.
5. AI features (off by default)
If AI assistance is enabled in a future version, it is invoked only when you press an AI action on a specific finding. In that case the HTML of that single element, the rule name and your question are sent to the AI provider named in the interface at that moment. No page-wide content is ever sent, and nothing is sent without your click. You can use the extension without AI.
6. Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR, where applicable)
- Licence data: performance of a contract (delivering the software you bought).
- Optional support emails: legitimate interest in supporting customers.
7. Retention and deletion
- Local data: kept until you delete it. *Options → Data on this device → Clear local data*
removes all scans, tasks and settings immediately.
- Licence data: retained while the licence exists (purchase record, activation rows with
device id and last-seen timestamp). Request deletion at [SUPPORT EMAIL — PENDING]; purchase records required for tax/accounting are retained as required by law.
8. Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, portability and objection, by emailing the address above. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
The extension is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 16.
10. Changes
Material changes will be published in this document with a new "last updated" date and, for significant changes, announced in the extension's release notes.
11. No compliance guarantee
The extension performs automated checks that cover a subset of WCAG 2.2. It does not make a website compliant, does not provide legal advice, and is not a substitute for manual testing.
